Great Christmas Party !!! As always, Teresa and Johnna were great hostesses, and their home was welcoming and beautiful. I really love the family type get togethers we have, because that is what the Indiana Mounted Regulators are, "Family" I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas !! If you did not make it to the Party, we missed you , and hope to see you soon!!!

Kristi and I may be grounded for a while Gee managed to tear his left front frog in half on the ice monday, Luckily Brian (Weigle new club member) is a farrier and came running and put pads and a medicated gel filler on his front feet for me at 8 pm monday in the cold, nice to have good buddies close! gee seems to be great just gonna give him time to heal. May bring Mare (bug) up on the 20th if the weather is decent! See u guys tomorrow night at Teresa's!

We are planning on going to Florida in Feb for the classic. I loved it last year. We shoot all of the stages in ONE ARENA which I like! Probably have to stay home for Christmas partys both weekends before and after Christmas !! Hey Kristi did really GREAT for her first Cowboy Mounted Shooting practice !!! Hope to see her back at practice sooooooon !! Kyle was wonderful babysitting that precious little baby!!

Boy what a Sunday practice at Crazy Horse. Dave and I arrived to Crazy Horse late (we had to go to Thanksgiving dinner at a Chinese Buffet 1st) , rounded the barn and across the track and wow...What a site. The whole parking lot full of horse trailers and horses standing around outside of the arena. What a turnout for our new shooters to get a great start at Cowboy Mounted Shooting. AND next month there should be a great supprise in the Western shooting Horse Magazine (Which is my favorite magazine by the way) which I read from cover to cover.....Hope to see everyone at Crazy Horse arena next weekend for practice and FUN....

I gotta come up there one of these weeks, and bring the Saddlebred. I'd like to do a little rifle practice with Zombie, but mine isn't ready yet. It's still got the 36 inch barrel, and something needs adjusted inside to feed the lighter rounds. Since the rounds are lighter the ramp that feeds them into the chamber likes to stove top them a little, but only sometimes. Once it gets trained to be a mounted shooting rifle I'll have to finally tell Zombie what my plans are for him. I haven't shown it to him yet, or told him about it, but i think he is starting to figure it out. Ever since we started we practiced our rein-less rundowns, and turns, and he's got that part down, and cantering instead of just blowing by all the balloons. I don't think Zombie will be my problem for practice I just got to get my rifle ready and try it. I can't wait, but i gotta feeling Zombie can....:)

Practice Practice Practice has started about every Sunday at noon at Crazy Horse Arena, so load up your ponys, grab the guns, ammo, and balloons, and head on over to Crazy Horse.(I.M.R. should have ammo and balloons to sell if you do not have any) Also, bring your friends that want to get started shooting and we will help them and their horses get started, with your help also....So hope to see you there !!!!!
