Practice Practice Practice has started about every Sunday at noon at Crazy Horse Arena, so load up your ponys, grab the guns, ammo, and balloons, and head on over to Crazy Horse.(I.M.R. should have ammo and balloons to sell if you do not have any) Also, bring your friends that want to get started shooting and we will help them and their horses get started, with your help also....So hope to see you there !!!!!

Just got home from the World Shoot in Amarillo.....It was a lot of FUN. Rick Deckena won his class, him and Tisha won Indiana's High Point cowboy and cowgirl. I got 4th in the Ladies 4 class, and made it back for the Ladies Express Division (6th stage) on Saturday. I ran Woody hard, and missed a balloon, and a roll back, but there was nothing to loose.... alll of nothing. (Boy I really wanted to win that gun though). Dave had to scratch for the 5th stage because Angel overreached on the 4th stage and bruised up her heal bulb on her front foot pretty bad. Steven Wilson won the Rifle Class and the Pro Class...Yes Sonny is back !! Tisha did not miss a shot all weekend, BUT her 2nd loaded gun popped out of her holster when she was shooting the first 5...Boy Sunny is turning and burning up the course. Jerry Jacobs had some great stages for just starting to shoot this summer... I think we did a great job representing the Indiana Mounted Regulators. It was a long week though.

I think she'll be fine, Lynn. She just needs more experience.Keep working with her. Have you seen my newest little filly in training. She acts a lot like Journey, temperament wise. I have her pic on WSH and FB.

Hi Lexi. I absolutely love Journey! We took her to Crazy Horse and she was afraid of the signs hanging up around the arena! She did ok though. The plan is to have her ready to shoot for next year. I think we will get there.

I told Jeff about you wanting a black horse and he told me that Pearl wouldnt be a big enough horse for you. I hope one of them work out for you. I love black horses to!

Thanks Lynn but we actually now have 3 big black horses:
Sheriff, our 16.1HH QH or QH X grade black horse I have used a few times. He needs more time and likes a loose rein so maybe not the best for shooting.
Maverick, we picked him up a couple weeks ago- he is 16.2HH and a registered AQHA horse who was a barrel racer. Can't wait to try him out as he is FAST!!!
Bella is a TB Mare, 16HH - just got her last night. She is an English horse and a trained jumper. We may try her at shooting for fun but not sure she has enough neck rein in her (English). Nancy got her for her jumping lessons.

Out of the three hopefully we will end up with at least one more good shooting horse.

Hey Kevin we have a blackhorse for sale.her name is Pearl. jeff bought her for me and she ended up being to much horse for me and she needs some work but over all is a wonderful horse. We bought Lexis black horse Journey. I will be working with her this winter at Crazy Horse. If your interested in Pearl give Jeff a call.

Hey, I thought you had a black horse. Well, you can't have mine!!!!! You're to late for my black quarter horse, I already sold her. Congrats Lanae. We'll have to save the corn maze for next year.
