The Indiana Mounted Regulators and friends are starting to practice now about every Sunday at Crazy Horse (indoor) Arena 5678 south 400 North, Urbana Indiana. It is $15.00 for the arena fee, bring your own balloons and ammo, or purchase balloons and ammo from I.M.R. OR just ride and set balloons by horseback. We also help new people get started shooting, and new horses get started,. We usually are at the arena by NOON about every Sunday throughout the Winter. So, COME JOIN US !!!

Congratulations! to all the Midwest Mounted Shooters that competed at the CMSA World Finals in Amarillo, Texas this past week! It was a great turnout with over 300 total entries and with many Midwest shooters placing at the top of their class! Northern Ohio Outlaws had a huge turnout from their club, something like 14 shooters and everyone in the house knew when an OHIO SHOOTER entered the arena! The weather was beautiful and there was time to visit some of the Texas sites, time for "Shopping"!, and time to visit with old and new shooting friends.
Time now to start thinking about getting in memberships for 2010 as the new season officially started October 26th, 2009! Don't forget, if you want to move down a level- do it at the time of membership renewal!

We would like everyone to pray for Michele Snyders's twin sister Melinda. She recently had a heart attack and is currently in a coma. If more info is needed, please contact someone from Indiana Mounted Regulators. (I hope I got this much information correct).

We had a great time at the Urbana, IN shoot this weekend. Thanks to all that helped put it on and to Shane Wilcox that let us shoot there without much notice. I got to do some cutting on my new mare, what a blast!!!

I believe that the Albion, IN shoot will be the last shoot of the year for the Midwest. Come and have some fun and shoot the corn maze, too.

The Illionis State Shoot was a good time, got to meet lots of Midwest Shooters that I didn't know...DuQuion State Fairgrounds is a really nice grounds, nice big arena. The stalls are roomy and dry and the covered arena protected us from the "Storms" that blew through! Lots of camping with electric and some with water and Lots of big'ole trees to shade the area. Joyce Mingus-Nelson, Lexi Knauss, and Bobby Ruwe won their classes. Bobby also won the Sr. Overall Buckle! Bill Holtzman and the Illinois Renegades did a great job hosting...every shooter that stayed for the awards went home with at least 2 Colman Coolers plus some special drawings...Lexi won a Mountain Bike! Hope we see some of these Midwest Shooters at the Midwest Region Shoot in 2010!
