Hi Cheryl, have a question for ya. I was asked today if the Kennedy Horsemanship Challenge, is the shooting of the 3 balloons a mandatory part of the Challenge

Cheryl,

did you see this photo? http://westernshootinghorse.ning.com/photo/photo/show?id=2387678%3APhoto%3A55829 It may give you some ideas for the Kennedy. Mike & I came up with some ideas on the way back from MT in September.

thanks Cheryl, we are going to Billings on Tuesday and we will see where we are going.
We are just in total shock with no warning. So he wants me to stay busy with the shooting but I will go and do when and if I can. I will remind you in January as you asked and anything you can get would be great. thanks

Hi Cheryl, Need your help, the Circle L Arena, where I had my annual barrel race has a Horse Expo each year in March. Its in it's 3rd year and really growing. Rod the owner said we could have a booth for free for Mounted Shooting. Now it will probably be both MSA and CMSA but mostly to get the word out on Mounted Shooting. I was hoping you could send pamphets, magazines, giveaways, anything to help with the booth, Banner and especially any dvd's we could play throughout the weekend. I know March is a ways off , but due to my husbands health issues , I may not be available to help out or will be limited to some shoots. Our world had been turned upside down this past week but my husband wants me to keep busy and shoot when I can.

Thanks. I will let the lady know. I put some pics on a disk for her with the pedigree and a picture of her daddy. Just uploaded a video of me shooting on Rosie this Saturday. I am going to shoot on her at all the matches this year...save Marx for the big stuff and get her finished and accomplished. I had fun. She was a good girl. By the way I liked the picture of your furnace. Glad you got it working.

Hi Cheryl, hope all is well, I see you posted the 2010 world finals. Are you leaning toward Gunnison for the event?
I was with a couple msa members and we are concerned about the rule t hat if you win a State or REgional you automaticaly move up. We were hoping that this will be changed.
anything else going on??

Cheryl, Our club is looking into some other options, like MSA. Do you have an old rule book or can we get, or the rules and details, prices to join, starting up another club, or etc, on line somewhere. We have heard that MSA is a lot more reasonable to shoot in then CMSA. Thanks....Connie

See, thats always the question.

we used to have a burro named Pierre that we used to teach steers to lead....he was definitely not a speedy rider but if you really worked at it you could get him to trot....maybe shooting would have piqued his interest and speeded him up a little...

Gotta find me burro! My friend Jenni has a miniture horse, but he already threw her! I'll have to work on this one. Hey you could call the burro "Gaited" too. They have a four beat gait!

Rob, If you get a picture of you doing Mounted Shooting on a burro, I will happly replace the Minion picture of Mike shooting off the pony with that one. :0D

Randy and Heidi in the news...

It doesn't appear as though you can link to the story on this web site but I have a print copy and it is a very nice article on Mounted Shooting, their ministry, and their new movie, Set Apart, which is slated to be released on Sept 22nd.

New MSA website

Should anyone go to the MSA website in the next few days and it is gone, please bear with me. I contacted a new web designer today and had to send an e-mail to the previous one letting her know about the switch. Hopefully she will remain professional and not take the site down until we get the new one up and running. If she does, the new one should be up within the week. The new site should be updated more regularly and will hopefully look a little better too.
Thanks for your continued patience… Continue
