Hey your right about the since problem. It likes to ride further back than looks comfortable for Zombie. It has rubbed him a little. I never though about putting a wide since on him. I have a neoprene easy since right now. Only thing is, that it is really hard to find a since that is small enough for Zombie. I think the since that I have now is a 22 in. I'll keep my eyes open for a wide since that short though. Thanks jon.

Hey, Jon. Thanks for the info. I bought a Diamond Wool pressure relief pad, with the removable pads. With all pads in the center, the saddle still left dry spots, and it started to break down a spot in the pad where all the pressure was put on the sides of his withers. The saddle just didn't fit. I have a fitting saddle now. I just don't know if my pommels with work with the bear trap. I just made arrangements to have a set of belt holsters made. So hopefully my pommels will work for the rest of the year, then I hope I can get my new rig.

I have typed then erraced a minimum of 20 posts. I usually list them as reply a.b.c. whatever. Figure when I get that close to the end of the alphabet I'm having issues. My sense of humor is diffinately lacking in the replies. And trying not to talk like my normal unedjamacated self and like I'm in polite company is also wearing. Gonna work horses and try and catch the injured feral and think about replies some more.

Sending you and Marty this pic. Our saddles which we got a couple of years back after verifying they were ok. These are made by Arena Leather for re-enactors. They are replicas (except for the blevins) of a saddle used during the Civil War by a Southern General. There is a pic of the original saddle (which is in a museum) on page 88 of the Americam Military Saddle by R. Stephen Dorsey. We have since been told that they know our double rigged hopes are period and they were ok when we got them but too bad so sad now.

Thank you! I really wanted to post something along those lines (anything stiff) but am trying to be good. At least till I can really be offensive.
