Hoosier Mounted Gunslingers Saddle Club membership drive.......

Shooters,
We are a Northwest Indiana Saddle Club that offers Cowboy Mounted Shooting and good family fun. This is not a CMSA sanctioned club!! We are hosting a membership drive on June 13 in La Porte County Indiana. We are a family oriented group. In addition to Cowboy Mounted Shooting we trail ride locally and at many of Indiana's State Parks. Our club is invitation only, so we have no riff raff or drunken hoolighans! Our annual membership for a family is a whopping $35.00, a single is $25.00 a… Continue

Fallen Cowboy.......Northwest Indiana...a tribute

Fellow shooters,
Recently we lost a good friend and a shooting' partner.
I have posted a few videos and pictures to honor August (Augie)
Herbst. We lost Augie recently due to a sudden illness. I took these videos at a local fun shoot our club was having.
Please enjoy and honor our buddy.
Respectfully,
Ted Karnavas

Hello Ted. Mary Pierson here! I am truly sorry to hear about Augie. We came to know him well during the few years that we shot in La Porte. He made me a wonderful set of pommel bags and I think of him every time I use them.

Hello to all in La Porte. Miss seeing you folks.

Hi Ted. I have been very busy the last year, I retired little over a year ago, tried traveling and shooting for 3 months, had to come home and take care of my Dad until he passed in August. Since then, been 90 mph so to speak. Goiing to Hoosier Horse Fair for 4 shows, puttin on a clinic for our shoot end of may. taking care of things for the farm. daughter and 3 grandkids now live with us. I need a break!!!! so , good to hear from you. rocky got poisoned last fall and just now getting him back again. Almost lost him, i think he is the only surviveing horse in this part of the country from Red Maple Leaf poisoning.. I have offered him to Purdue for evaluation.. come down and shoot with us..

Mr Karnavas, it's good to hear from you. I appologize for taking so long to reply but I don't get on here very often. Anyway, we (Teresa & I ) are fine and I hope you are too. I don't know how much shooting we are going to do this summer, but I'm sure that we will cross paths and we will catch up on things. Shoot well and have fun this summer. Happy trails :~)
