Well that sure wasn't clear in their message! Oh well, motivated me to retake the test anyway. And yes to Deb's question, how is Red?
on Monday
Reminder to all Certified Rangemasters - make sure you retake the test by the end of the month to be certified for 2010. State and Regionals REQUIRES certified rangemaster so we need all we can get!

Doesn't it seem like horses always get injured or colic during the coldest days of the year? We could put them in padded stalls and they'd still find ways to be stupid sometimes. We won't be penning either - WAY too cold for our tastes!

Happy Birthday to Kelly Gray!!

I don't like ramps either but mainly because of MN winters. I think Kerri had a ramp on her old 2 horse we used a few times. Always had problems with ice/etc. clogging up the ramp - an annoying extra step to clean off when the ramp won't fold up. So…

This thread of conversation is hilarious. I could never take an alegbra test again without thinking of this and laughing!

Yep - we did blankets too. I need to ride to burn off some stress but I don't see that happening soon. I freely admit I am a winter wuss!! Quad what?? tee hee - start drinking and maybe it will all start to make sense.

Why do we all live here? I hate winter! Already broke the winch on the plow after only 2 passes on the driveway. At least Chad won't have to work out after shoveling snow!

My husband (Dave) shoots a Marlin 44 special. He Loves it, (So much he was soooo nervous when I started shooting it) So, I got an EMF 45. I need to get to practicing with it a lot this winter. We never had enough ladies to make two rifle classes, so our club always put the ladies with the men. I am glad though that this year we are suppose to separate the lever action rifles from the revolving. That will make it more even. Just got back from trail riding last weekend. Was a great time !!!

What kind of Rifle do you shoot ? And what happened to it ?? I bought an EMF rifle, Which is really a rossi. It jammed right out of the box. I had someone smooth off all of the rough edges and make it chamber ammo better without jamming. I could jam it even without ammo in it. It is sooooo thrilling to shoot rifle. I can't believe I am really trying it. Terrible at it, but it is still FUN

Boy do I ever need to practice RIFLE. I just got it back from being worked on. Smootherd out the edges so it will not jam on me anymore. Woody find another gear when I shoot rifle. Wish i would have started when he was not running this fast. Hey....I heard you won the survey !! Congrats....4 other girls around our area are going senior for 2010, so we will have a full class. I HAD 4 wins as a level 4 though, and lost them because I went senior. That is a new rule. Almost did not go senior because of that but, I would have had to wait till next year and there is talk about raising the age of ladie senior class up several years. Always something to think about....Hope to see you soon ! Connie

Maybe the squirrel wasn't blind, but somehow the sun found the dog's backside heheheh :) Hope you can make it to state, always good to see ya at the shoots. Right now it's still scheduled for Custer, but keep an eye on the MJ website as there is a teeny tiny chance of it moving.

Thanks Tosha! Another fun weekend and that was icing on the cake. Good luck hunting this weekend! My cousin is engineer at PSE, some of his babies were the X force, and the tac 15 crossbow, I can't remember the name of the new one he developed. www.tac15.com video clip is pretty cool. Congrats to Chads move up!

Yesterday he was sore and cranky, little swelling on the back of the fetlock. Today he was just a little cranky, swelling seemed to be down. I am giving him a full week of rest before even thinking about getting on him. I am sure he will be OK.
