WOW and THANK YOU to all that were part of the NARHA Shootout this year at World's. It was a great event with 2 riding centers competing with their students this year - Hold your Horses ~ Lubbock, TX and 7 Star Therapy Riding Center ~ Amarillo, TX. Charles, Judith & I are getting excited about everyone coming to Carlsbad in November. If you did not get to join us in Aug. you missed a lot of fun. If you did, we hope you will join us again.

The results of the Fall Fest in Memphis, hosted by the Dixie Rough Riders are available. Tisha Deckena won the combined best time for Saturday and Sunday, while Thom Henning won his very first overall on Saturday. Thank all of you for attending and a special thanks goes out to Nodie Williams for those great big hugs!!! I'm glad you had a great time and look forward to seeing all of you in April for the Tune Up For Tunica match, which will be in the large indoor arena at Shelby Showplace.

THe first Fall Fest in Memphis was a blast. On day one, between stages 2 and three was a Triainers/Shooters clinic, feauring basic gun handling and training of green horses, which concluded with a first time shooter and first time horse completing a five balloon course. Natasha O'Neal a Dixie Rough Rider club member and therapeutic riding instructor assisted a disabled student from Hearts Desire Therapeutic Riding Center in a course using a stick and pin to break the balloons. Western Shooting Horse will sponsor the CMSA Shooter Hospitality Lounge at the Worlds in Amarillo. Beginning Wednesday through Saturday, from 12:00 noon to 4:30 p.m., CMSA shooters and their guests are invited to stop into the lounge on the main concourse for complimentary water and snacks. Western Shooting Horse staff members will assist the CMSA staff in hosting their hospitality lounge and shooters are encouraged to pay us a visit.
