Denny Chapman wins dual titles at Florida State SASS Mounted Shooting Championships

Denny Chapman of Ocala FL won the Rifle division, Open Class Extreme and was Reserve Overall at the Florida State SASS Mounted Shooting Championships November 21 and 22. The event had 65 entries and was produced by the Florida Outlaws - the largest SASS Mounted Shooting club in the United States. Chapman, a professional horse trainer, announcer and entertainer, has been involved in mounted shooting for over a decade. "I've been shooting with CMSA off and on since the late 90's and with SASS since last year, and have built a business around the sport - Florida is a hotspot for mounted shooting with events held every month. I give a lot of mounted shooting lessons down here and take in horses for mounted shooting training over the winter, and of course, enjoy announcing for CMSA at their major matches." Chapman was the topic of a recent Western Shooting Horse Magazine article

Way to go Denny !! Looks like you could have cleared 2 bales high easy with that jump !! Dave and I shot at Guns Of August -SASS mounted shoot a few years ago, where we ran thru a woods and shot silowettes (bad spelling) That was FUN Congrats on your wins....
