KENDA LENSEIGNE TAKES TOP TITLE AT 2009 CMSA WORLDS

Lady’s level six competitor Kenda Lenseigne took home the overall World Champion title from the 2009 CMSA World Championships in Amarillo, Texas after beating a field of more than 300 competitors in the six-stage competition.

The Ellensburg, Washington resident also took home top honors in the Lady's Wrangler Pro and Lady's Colt Eliminator competitions with top overall times over the men's categories.

Coming in reserve and taking the top men's title was level five competitor Don Day. Ladies level four Natalie Johnson took the lady's reserve title and 2007 World Champ Matthew Sronce won the men’s reserve title.

In the men’s division of the Colt Eliminator, 2008 World Champ Charlie Little took the title with Stephen Wilson taking the top honors in the Men’s Wrangler Pro. Stephen Wilson also took the top spot in the Rifle category and Tammy Townsend won the Cavalry competition.

Wow, talk about close matches! Only 3.776 secs separated 1st and 10th for 6 stages - 10 riders with nan average range of .63 secs per stage. Now that's competitive. Congratulations to all the riders no matter where you placed. Everyone helps make our sport great.

Kenda, you really are the 'TOP GUN'! I watched your Colt Eliminator run over and over and I am amazed at how you shoot from maximum distances performing instant reach back shots! I am so proud of you! The "OVERALL WORLD CHAMPION"! I wish you the 'very best' Kenda, you 'earned' it and you 'deserve' it! Sid : ))

Congrats Kenda !! I am glad she made it thru the 6th stage !!! What Fun we had at the Worlds, shooting and meeting new shootin friends !!

Congrats to Kenda for making history (or horse-story) again! She had a great shoot! Don Day also did a great job! Quiet, but effective. Congrats to all the winners! Especially the lefties and our Colorado shooters! It was fun and busy!
